I began smithing in 2018 and have continued to deepen my passion for jewelry making ever since. Art, or creativity in general, has been a powerful way for me to tell stories that I love, find beautiful, or find interesting. I really like smithing in that those stories can be forever preserved in time within a metal jewelry piece that can live with someone throughout their entire life and can even be passed on to generations to come!

I was originally born in the green hills of the Appalachians in Georgia. After traveling for a handful of years, I found myself in Northern California amongst the redwoods and ocean! I now live in the beautiful coastal town of Trinidad, California. Nestled in Humboldt County in northern California, the area I live takes my breath away. The natural beauty here ranges from redwood trees, misty cliffside oceans, sand dunes, alps to the east, and beautiful rivers. A lot of my designs are inspired by nature, especially the nature where I live, but also nature of other places and different cultures that I have grown to know and love.
